Answer:

90 couples or 180 ppl

Step-by-step explanation:

lets take "x" as the couples who remained at the party

we start out with 250:

250

but by the time it is 11pm, 70 people have left the party

since it is a couples party we need to divide by two to account for the couples

\frac{250-70}{2}=x

250-70=180

180/2=90

so 90 couples or 180 ppl

hope this helps

First find the amount at the end of the deferment period using the formula of the future value of a compound interest
A=8,960×(1+0.2735÷12)^(6)
A=10,257.25

Use the amount we found as the present value to find the monthly payment by using the formula of the present value of an annuity ordinary to get
PMT=10,257.25÷((1−(1+0.2735

Answer: -a > -b

Explanation:

Let's go over an example.

We'll have a = 1 and b = 7 which makes a < b true. Feel free to pick your own favorite pair of numbers such that b is larger than 'a'.

The corresponding opposites are: -a = -1 and -b = -7

The relationship flips because the opposites of each number are flipped. So instead of saying -a < -b, we have -a > -b

Sure enough, -1 > -7 is a true statement. Use a number line to see this. I recommend a vertical number line.

In short, going from a < b to -a > -b means we flip the signs of each term, and we flip the inequality sign as well.
