Answer:

Jocks are discriminated against because people usually stereotype and throw all athletes into one category. Not all Jocks are the same as the ones that you see portrayed on the television. I do not think that the discrimination against Jocks can truly be compared to the discrimination against minorities, religions or sexual orientations. It is simply a harmful stereotype, that just makes males think that they have to act a certain way. This isn't always true though, because not many Jocks behave like the ones on the television
