E = hc / λ

where 'h' is Planck's constant: 6.626 x 10^-34 Js

           'c' is the speed of light: 2.998 x 10^8 ms

       &  'λ' is the wavelength (in this case): 450 nm

1 nanometer (nm) = 1 x 10^-9m

E = (6.626 x 10^-34 Js)(2.998 x 10^8 ms) / (450nm)(1 m / 10^-9 nm)

E ≈ 4.41 x 10^-19 J
