Answer: The sequence is geometric

Step-by-step explanation:

A geometric sequence is a sequence in which any term after the first term is gotten by multiplication of the previous term by a common ratio , r which is a constant throughout the terms.

 While an Arithmetic Progression  is a sequence in which any term after the first term is gotten by addition  of the previous term by a constant known as the common difference, d.

From this sequence ,400, 480, 576, 691.2, 829.44,

,we can see that the next term is  gotten by Multiplication of the previous term by 1.2 .

This was gotten using the formula of common ratio, r which equals

a2/ a= 480/400= 1.2

a3/a2 = 576/ 480= 1.2

a4/a3= 691.2/ 576=1.2

a5/a4= 829.44/ 691.2

Circle X has radius r X = 6 units and circumference C X = 12 π units. Circle Y has circumference C Y = 6 units. Which equation i
slega [8]

Answer:

ry=\frac{rx}{2\pi }

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The circumference of a circle is equal to

C=2\pi r

we have

<em>Circle X</em>

rx=6\ units

Cx=12\pi\ units

<em>Circle Y</em>

Cy=6\ units

Find the radius ry

we know that

Cy=2\pi ry

substitute the value of Cy

6=2\pi ry

ry=\frac{6}{2\pi }

Remember that the value of rx is rx=6\ units

substitute

ry=\frac{rx}{2\pi }

1. we have to find what number lie at A and B , and that too between and 1 and 2 , so these two numbers must be decimal numbers!! So let's find the number of scales between 1 and 2 , we get 8 scales !! So the question is how much place 1 scale will occupy ?? we have to find certain numbers between 1 and 2 , suppose between 1 and 2 we have 1 unit and those 1 unit occupies 8 scales !! so much place 1 scale occupies ?? to get it divide 1 by 8 and we get 0.125 !! so between 1 and 2 ,each blank space or scale occupies 0.125 unit!! now what numbers lie at A ? count the number of scale between 1 and A , we get 3 scales ! now multiply 3 by 0.125 , we get 0.375 , add 1 to 0.375 , we get 1.375 !! hence 1.375 lies at A ! now we have to find which number lies at B ? count the number of blanks or scale , we get 4 ! multiply 4 by 0.125 and we get 0.5 ! add this 0.5 to 1 , we get 1.5 ! therefore the number 1.5 lies at B !!

Answer and Explanation:

To find : Which number is in standard notation or scientific notation?

Solution :

Scientific notation is a special ways of writing the standard form of number.

Scientific notation make a big number into smaller way bye writing it into 10 to the power or using E.

Standard notation is like 12,47950585,89000.

Scientific notation is like 1.43\times 10^3 , 1.43E10

So, Now we examine the numbers,

A) 5.9E10 is the Scientific notation.

B) 0.0000734 is the Standard notation.

C) 2.66\times 10^{-3} is the Scientific notation.

D) 641,000,000,000 is the Standard notation.
