Is fungus considered as a decomposer?
Alex17521 [72]
<span>Fungi is a decomposer. They make enzymes that decompose the decaying matter while feasting on the nutrients of that substance. This is why that most fungi are useful because without them, the biomass would be crowded with dead matter. Other decomposers include bacteria and actinomycetes. hope it helps ;)

If someone could dig a safe tunnel through the earth how long would it take to free fall to the center?
Reptile [31]

Answer: A scenario often presented to introductory physics classes is that of a "gravity tunnel" — a tube drilled from one side of the Earth to the other through the planet's center. The answer taught for nearly a half-century for how long a fall through such a hole would take was about 42 minutes and 12 seconds.

Explanation: However, solar and lunar gravity, which also perturb orbiting satellites, would eventually pull you into the tunnel wall anyway [source: Darling ]. Strike a chord: Fun fact: A straight line from any point to any other point through the planet would take the same amount of time to fall through like a tunnel through Earth's center.

Minerals are rarely used in everyday life true or false
Softa [21]

Answer: False

Reason: We Use Minerals In our day to day life, when it comes to cooking, or burning. We use Salt to cook amazing meals, and some pots and pans have minerals built in to them so that they last longer over the years you cook with them. When we burn in the fireplace or in the backyard, some of us use coal and light it up, and sometimes, we use minerals to make buildings. In one of my neighboring towns, their City Hall has little mineral pieces built into the City Hall. I hope this helps, and happy holidays! :)
