Answer:

D

Explanation:

Rather water diffuses from the collecting duct into the interstitial fluids, through the aquaporins. The fusion of the aquaporins with the membrane lining of the collecting duct ( due to  synthesis  of  the ADH by the hypothalamic neurone and and it releases  into the blood from the post. pituitary gland) increases the permeability of the collecting  duct to water. Therefore water moves  into the interstitial fluids from the collecting duct by osmosis, leading to production of   more concentrated urine is produced .

"the medulla, the pons, and the cerebellum are three main parts of the ______."
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

The medulla, pons, and the cerebellum are three main parts of the hindbrain.

Brain is the centre of the nervous system. It is enclosed in the skull cranium. The primary regions of the brain are the forebrain, midbrain and the hindbrain. The forebrain consists of the cerebrum and diencephalon. The midbrain is a small tubular region between the forebrain and the hindbrain. The hindbrain is made up of the medulla oblongata, pons and cerebellum.

Cerebellum is the second largest portion of the brain which helps in maintaining the body's equillibrium, coordinates muscular movements and body posture. Pons is the structure located in the brain stem which relays impulses from medulla to cerebellum and vice versa. Medulla oblongata is the lowest part of the brain stem controlling involuntary reflexes and has the respiratory and cardiac centres in it controlling respiration and heart beats respectively.

Answer: Sea walnuts are marine invertebrates. They belong to the genus Mnemiopsis.

Explanation:

These animals have stinging tentacles like jelly fish and they often cast up or come to the sea shores where if they come in contact with humans can harm them by stinging.

The barrier if kept along the side of the sea shore and not allowing humans to reach to the shore can help in preventing the harm from these animals. The introduction of the predatory animals in the sea can also help in reducing their population.

The three benefits for removing the sea walnut:

1. The population of other species will increase as sea walnut is an invasive species.

2. The balance of the marine ecosystem can be maintained.

3. Humans can be protected from the harm caused by these animals.
