Answer:

A. you would want to use the 12 ound ball and the 18 mph speed in order to transfer the most kinetic energy

B. KE= 1/2 MV^2 so you would want to maximize both your Mass(weight of the ball) and Velocity(speed of the roll) in order to achive the greatest KE.

C. see image

Explanation:

Full disclosure not totally sure what you are being asked in the last one but I put togethere a rough sketch that is my best guess.

A substance has a density of 13.5 g/cm3. What is the volume of a 50 g block of this substance?
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]
Density = mass/Volume
Use algebra to rearrange the equation:
V = mass / density
V = 50 / 13.5
V = ?
The units are cm^3
also known as centimeters squared.

A 100 watt incandescent light bulb is operated for 7 hours, and a 32 watt fluorescent light bulb is operated for the same period
Tema [17]

Cost savings in using the fluorescent bulb is 3.81 cents

Explanation:

A 100 watt incandescent light bulb is operated for 7 hours.

Energy used by 100 watt incandescent light bulb = Power x Time

Energy used by 100 watt incandescent light bulb = 100 x 7 = 700 Wh

Energy used by 100 watt incandescent light bulb = 0.7 kWh

A 32 watt fluorescent light bulb is operated for 7 hours.

Energy used by 32 watt fluorescent light bulb = Power x Time

Energy used by 32 watt fluorescent light bulb = 32 x 7 = 224 Wh

Energy used by 32 watt fluorescent light bulb = 0.224 kWh

Cost of electricity per kWh = 8 cents

Cost of electricity by 100 watt incandescent light bulb = 0.7 x 8 = 5.6 cents

Cost of electricity by 32 watt fluorescent light bulb = 0.224 x 8 = 1.792 cents

Difference in costs = 5.6 - 1.792 = 3.808 cents

Cost savings in using the fluorescent bulb is 3.81 cents

A 2.40 μC charge is subject to a 3.00 mN force due to an Electric Field. What is the magnitude of the Electric Field at the loca
Bezzdna [24]

Electric field at the location of the charge is 1250 N/C

Explanation:

Electric field is the ratio of force and charge.

Force, F = 3.00 mN = 3 x 10⁻³ N

Charge, q = 2.40 μC = 2.40 x 10⁻⁶ C

We have

                 E=\frac{F}{q}\\\\E=\frac{3\times 10^{-3}}{2.40\times 10^{-6}}\\\\E=1250N/C

Electric field at the location of the charge is 1250 N/C

Sayid drew an energy pyramid. What does each section of the triangle represent?
BaLLatris [955]

Pyramid of numbers: relative number of individual organisms at each trophic level in an ecosystem. Pyramids of energy show the relative amount of energy available at each trophic level. On average, about 10 percent of the energy available within one trophic level is transferred to the next trophic level.

HOPE THIS HELPED!!! XD
