So to get 100 from 50, we’d have to do 50*2. So the bottom box/missing denominator would be 2, and since we have to find the perfect, the top box would also have to be 2 so the actual number doesn’t change. (2/2 = 1, anything multiplied by 1 is itself). We want it to look different and to be out of 100 but it should still hold the same value if that makes sense. So you do that and you do 27*2 which is 54, and the percent would be 54%

GUYS PLEASE HELP WILL MARK BRAINLIEST
Vlada [557]

Answer:

17 in²

Step-by-step explanation:

We can break this figure into two smaller and easier figures:

The top figure (which has side lengths of 3 and 5), and the bottom figure (with sides of 1 and 2.)

Let's find the area of the top figure first. The width is 4 and the length is 5 so:

3\cdot5=15 in².

The bottom figure has a length of 2 and a width of 1. So:

2\cdot1=2 in².

Now we add these two:

15+2=17 in².

Hope this helped!

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kamila [148]

Answer:

Twelve tickets cost $30 --> True

Thirty tickets cost $12 --> False

Each additional costs $2.50 --> True

The table is a partial rep --> True

ordered pairs --> False

Step-by-step explanation:

Twelve tickets cost $30 --> True, you can literally see that in the table

Thirty tickets cost $12 --> False, 30 is not in the table so you don't have that information. Besides, $12 is an unlikely low value for so many tickets.

Each additional costs $2.50 --> True, you can see the difference in the TotalCost column to be consistently 2.50.

The table is a partial rep --> True, values below 11 are not shown for example.

ordered pairs --> False --> Then the x value should be first, e.g., (11, 27.50), since the cost y is a function of the number x.

PLSSS HELP I WILL GIVE BRAINLYIST 20 PTS!!!!!!! what is the difference between composition and decomposition and can they be use
Helga [31]

Answer: Decompose means the opposite, to take apart. In this lesson, the words composition and decomposition are used to describe how irregular figures can be separated into triangles and other polygons. The area of these parts can then be added together to calculate the area of the whole figure.

What method would you choose to solve the equation 2x^2-7=9
Margaret [11]
Here is one way to solve for x.

Step 1)  2x^2-7=9

Step 2)  2x^2-7+7=9+7

Step 3)  2x^2=16

Step 4)  (2x^2)/2=16/2

Step 5)  x^2=8

Step 6)  sqrt(x^2)=sqrt(8)

Step 7)  |x|=sqrt(8)

Step 8)  x=sqrt(8) or x=-sqrt(8)

-------------------------------------

Below are explanations/reasons to each of the steps above.

Step 1) Original equation

Step 2) Add 7 to both sides

Step 3) Combine like terms

Step 4) Divide both sides by 2

Step 5) Simplify

Step 6) Apply the square root to both sides. The notation "sqrt" is shorthand for "square root"

Step 7) Use the rule that sqrt(x^2) = |x| for all real numbers x

Step 8) Use the rule that if |x| = k then x = k or x = -k for some fixed number k.

-------------------------------------

The two solutions are
x = sqrt(8) or x = -sqrt(8)
