Answer:Amount of rice cooked by Alice =2 11/24kg

Together  Alice and Jasmine cooked 4 7/24kg of rice

Step-by-step explanation:

Amount of rice cooked by Jasmine =1 5/6 kg

Amount of rice cooked by Alice = 5/8 kg more than Jasmine

=1 5/6 kg+ 5/8 kg

=1 (20 +15) /24

=1 35/24

=1 +1 11/24

= 2 11/24 kg

Together  Alice and Jasmine cooked 1 5/6 kg + 2 11/24kg =

=3 20 +11/24

=3 31/24=3 +1 7/24

=4 7/24kg

Answer:

W = 8.2 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter formula is P = 2W + 2L and here the perimeter is 65.6 cm.

Thus, 65.6 cm = 2W + 2L.  Substituting 3W for L, we get

          65.6 cm = 2W + 2(3W) = 8W.

Solving for W by dividing both sides by 8, we get W = 65.6 cm / 8, or

W = 8.2 cm

Oksanka [162]

Answer: 38 feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of motion of a body thrown vertically upwards:

                                       \displaystyle\\\boxed {h=h_0+v_0t-\frac{gt^2}{2} \ \ \ \ \ (1)},

h_0=2 \ feet\ \ \ \  v_0=50\  feet\  per\  second.

Substitute in formula (1) the value t=2 c:

h=2+50*2-16*2^2\\h=2+100-16*2*2\\h=102-64\\h=38\ feet.
