So you would but a b on the outside and on the inside, you would put 8b because b x 8b makes b^2. Then, you would put +7 for the 7b and then close the brackets and thats your answer b(8b+7)

b(8b+7)

Answer:

Solution given;

8b²+7b

let look what is common there;

8*b*b+7*b

over here b is common

take common and keep other remaining on bracket

b(8b+7)

In a simple way <u>b(8b+7)</u> is a factorise form of

8b²+7b

Y=-x-4 <br>y=x<br><br>solve system of equations algebraically
Serhud [2]

Answer:

y=-2 x=-2

Step-by-step explanation:

y=-x-4

y=x

you can plug y in for x in the first equation by using substitution

y=-y-4

and then you solve for y

2y=-4

y=-2

so y equals -2. Since y=x, x also equals -2. Therefore

y=-2 x=-2

What is the radius of a sphere with a volume of 1/6 pie
Yakvenalex [24]

Answer:

\large\boxed{the\ radius\ R=\dfrac{1}{2}}

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula of a volume of a sphere:

V=\dfrac{4}{3}\pi R^3

We have

V=\dfrac{1}{6}\pi

Substitute:

\dfrac{4}{3}\pi R^3=\dfrac{1}{6}\pi        <em>divide both sides by π</em>

\dfrac{4}{3}R^3=\dfrac{1}{6}          <em>multiply both sides by 3</em>

3\!\!\!\!\diagup^1\cdot\dfrac{4}{3\!\!\!\!\diagup_1}R^3=3\!\!\!\!\diagup^1\cdot\dfrac{1}{6\!\!\!\!\diagup_2}

4R^3=\dfrac{1}{2}          <em>divide both sides by 4</em>

R^3=\dfrac{1}{2}:4\\\\R^3=\dfrac{1}{2}\cdot\dfrac{1}{4}\\\\R^3=\dfrac{1}{8}\to R=\sqrt[3]{\dfrac{1}{8}}\\\\R=\dfrac{\sqrt1}{\sqrt8}\\\\R=\dfrac{1}{2}

I need help with this
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

D.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to converse of the Pythagorean Theorem, that if the square of the third side (longest side) of a triangle equals the sum of the other two shorter sides, therefore, the triangle formed must be a right triangle.

From the side lengths given, the following satisfies the Pythagorean triple:

5² + 12² = 13².

Therefore, the procedure to use to confirm the converse of the Pythagorean Theorem would be to draw the two shortest side, 5 cm and 12 cm, so that a right angle will be between them. The side measuring 13 cm should therefore fit in to form a right triangle.
