Fighting would make a conversation not possible because it stops the conversation from continuing and instead of talking it out like a normal conversation, it stops it from happening.

What is the answer for this question?
emmainna [20.7K]

Hey there!

The more energy a substance is, the more movement it has.

The energy of a substance determines its state of matter.

From least to most energy, it goes solid, liquid, gas.

So it needs to be going from a lower energy state to a higher energy state.

The only one that goes from a lower energy state to a higher energy state is C. H2O (l) --> H2O (g).

Hope this helps!

In solids, the particles of matter are not in constant motion.
Vsevolod [243]
True because in a solid particles dont move so it wouldn't be in a constant motion.

What is the main reason that Absolute Zero has not been achieved under laboratory conditions?
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

The reason is because Charle's Law which states that volume is directly proportional to temperature. So, for the temperature to be absolute zero, there would need to be no volume. It's Impossible.

You take an ice cube (mass = 18g) from the freezer (T=-10°C) and place it on the table. Later that day, you notice a puddle of w
klasskru [66]

The equation to be used to calculate the heat absorbed when solid melts is the enthalpy of melting. It is represented as H = mCpT where H is the heat released after phase change, m is the mass of the substance, Cp is the specific heat capacity of the substance and T is the change in temperature.

H = mCpT

H = (18g/1000g/kg)(4.184kJ/kg-K)(293-(-263))

H = 41.87kJ
