7: the answer is C because 3/4 divided by 2/3 equals 1 1/8 and C if you multiply 3/4 x 3/2 it equals 1 1/8

14: the answer is 18 because if you add all the numbers they picked you’ll get 6 then divide it by 1/3 you’ll get 18

She spent 40% of her time on the treadmill

Every hour has 60 minutes, since 6 minutes is 1/10 of an hour it’d also be 10% of the time. Multiply it by 4 and you’ll get 24 minutes and 40%

Answer:

The sample standard deviation is 393.99

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard deviation of a sample can be calculated using the following formula:

s=\sqrt[ ]{\frac{1}{N-1} \sum_{i=1}^{N}(x_{i}-{\displaystyle \textstyle {\bar {x}}}) ^{2} }

Where:

s= Sample standart deviation

N= Number of observations in the sample

{\displaystyle \textstyle {\bar {x}}}= Mean value of the sample

and \sum_{i=1}^{N}(x_{i}-{\displaystyle \textstyle {\bar {x}}}) ^{2} } simbolizes the addition of the square of the difference between each observation and the mean value of the sample.

Let's start calculating the mean value:

\bar {x}=\frac{1}{N}  \sum_{i=1}^{N}x_{i}

\bar {x}=\frac{1}{15}*(180+1600+90+140+50+260+400+90+380+110+10+60+20+340+80)

\bar {x}=\frac{1}{15}*(3810)

\bar {x}=254

Now, let's calculate the summation:

\sum_{i=1}^{N}(x_{i}-\bar {x}) ^{2} }=(180-254)^2+(1600-254)^2+(90-254)^2+...+(80-254)^2

\sum_{i=1}^{N}(x_{i}-\bar {x}) ^{2} }=2173160

So, now we can calculate the standart deviation:

s=\sqrt[ ]{\frac{1}{N-1} \sum_{i=1}^{N}(x_{i}-{\displaystyle \textstyle {\bar {x}}}) ^{2} }

s=\sqrt[ ]{\frac{1}{15-1}*(2173160)}

s=\sqrt[ ]{\frac{2173160}{14}}

s=393.99

The sample standard deviation is 393.99

For a population with an unknown distribution, the form of the sampling distribution of the sample mean is _____. Group of answe
Nesterboy [21]

For a population where the distribution is unknown, the sampling distribution of the sample mean will be b which is approximately normal for all sample sizes.

Given options regarding sample sizes.

We have to choose the correct option which shows the sample mean characteristics when the distribution is unknown.

Based on the central limit theorem the sampling distribution of the sample mean for either skewed variable ir normally distributed variable can be approximated given the mean and standard deviation.

The central limit theorem is said to be  true when n greater than or equal to 30.

When n is greater than 30 ,z test is used, when n is less than 30 ,t test is used.

Hence for a population where the distribution is unknown ,the sampling distribution of the sample mean will be approximately normal for all sample sizes.

Question is incomplete as it includes options in a right way:

1)exactly normal for large sample,

2) approximately normal for all sample sizes,

3) exactly normal for all sample sizes.

Find Lateral Surface area
fiasKO [112]

Answer:

To find the lateral surface area, we will find half of the perimeter of the base and multiply it by the slant height of the side triangles. Each triangle has a slant height. The slant height is the height of each triangle, not the height of the pyramid.
