Answer:

500 meters

Explanation:

Sound travels faster in warmer air because the air particles have more kinetic energy. The highest temperature air is found at the lowest altitude, therefore 500 meters is the elevation that sound travels the fastest from the options provided.

If an object can make 10 revolutions in a minute, what's is period
lidiya [134]

Answer:

Period = 6 seconds.

Explanation:

Given the following data;

Number of oscillation, n = 10

Time = 1 minute to seconds = 60 seconds

To find the period;

A period is the number of revolutions in a minute.

Period = \frac {time}{number \; of \; oscillations}

Substituting into the equation, we have;

Period = \frac {60}{10}

Period = 6 seconds.

A car travels at 40 km/h for 2 h and 60 km/h for 3 hr. What is its average speed?
Vadim26 [7]

ive been doing this type of stuff in my class.

so to find this you need to first:

multiply 40 * 2

and multiply 60 * 3

= 80

= 180

add 180 + 80 = 260

add the time together so 2 + 3 is 5

divide 260 / 5 = with an answer of 52km/h

i hope this helps, if incorrect or mis proper answer let me know :)

A 75.5-kg person puts on a life jacket, jumps into the water, and floats. The jacket has a volume of 3.38 x 10-2 m3 and is compl
Andreyy89

Answer:

Density of jacket will be 680.4733kg/m^3

Explanation:

We know that weight of water displaced= buoyant force=weight of man

Now volume of water displaced v=3.38\times 10^{-2}+6.42\times 10^{-2}=9.8\times 10^{-2}m^3

Density of water d=100kg/m^3

So weight of water displaced =9.8\times 10^{-2}\times 1000=98kg

So weight of jacket = 98-75 = 23 kg

We have given volume of the jacket = 3.38\times 10^{-2}m^3

So density of jacket =\frac{mass}{volume}=\frac{23}{3.38\times 10^{-2}}=680.4733kg/m^3
