Answer:

Equation of line is \mathbf{y=-3x+3}

Option A is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to write an equation that represents the line that passes through the point (-1, 6) and has a slope of -3.

The equation will be of slope-intercept form: y=mx+b

where m is slope and b is y-intercept

We are given slope m =-3, we need to find y-intercept b

Finding y-intercept

using slope m=-3 and point (-1, 6)

y=mx+b\\6=-3(-1)+b\\6=3+b\\b=6-3\\b=3

So, y-intercept b is 3

Now the equation of line having slope m= -3 and y-intercept b = 3 is

y=mx+b\\y=-3x+3

Equation of line is \mathbf{y=-3x+3}

Option A is correct.

So you have to add all the numbers to get the perimeter or the outside distance but it looks like t and s is there a few times so that’s were you have to simplify.
So here’s the answer simplified

What is the slope of the line perpendicular to the line with equation 4x-5y+13=0
motikmotik

Answer:

m = - 5/4

Step-by-step explanation:

If two lines are perpendicular, their slopes are negative reciprocals, which means that their product is -1

We can write the equation

4*x - 5*y + 13  = 0

as:      5*y  =  4*x  + 13      or

y  = (4/5)*x  + 13        (1)

Equation (1) is the equation of a straight line in its slope point form, 4/5 is the slope, according to this the slope of a perpendicular line is

-5/4

Is this done correctly or incorrectly??
PLEASE LET ME KNOW

PLZ HELP ASAP
Dimas [21]
You're very close. However, the less steep line should go through (4,7) and not some point slightly above that location. Also, the shaded region should be above both dashed lines at the same time. So you won't include the portion that I've marked in blue (see attached). Other than that, it looks great.
