Answer:

the solution is (-4, 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

if you were to graph y = -7/4x - 4 you could plot your first point at (0, -4) and get your second point by going up 7 units (from (0, -4) and to the left by 4

if you were to graph y = -1/4x + 2 you could plot your first point at (0, 2) and get your second point by going up 1 unit (from (0, 2) and to the left by 4

the second point plotted for each equation will be the point of intersection, (-4, 3)

Pls help me this is for my final text and I’m struggling really bad!!!
vodka [1.7K]
I’m not so sure I fully understand the question. But I would say the rate is 1.

I say this because the line on your graph is a y=mx+b equation.

For every unit it moves over on the X axis it moves the same unit on the Y axis.

I hope this helps.

7cm=16ft
9.8cm=?ft

  7cm       9.8cm
______=______

What is the common rule for simplifying a negative exponent with a coefficient?<br> Ex: 3^-1
rjkz [21]
Anything to a negative power becomes the inverse with the coefficient to a positive power.
For example, 3^-1 becomes 1/3^1 or just 1/3.
3^-2 would be 1/3^2 or 1/9.

Find the parametric equations for the line that is tangent to the given curve at the given parameter (3cost)i (t^4 -3sint)j
ale4655 [162]

Answer:

Following are the solution to this question:

Step-by-step explanation:

Please find the complete question in the attached file.

In the given equation, when the point t=0

So,

\to r(0) = (3 \cos 0)i + (0^4 - 6 \sin 0)j + (2e^{3\times 0})k)

           = (3 \times 1)i + (0 - 0)j + (2e^{0})k)\\\\ = 3i +  0j + (2 \times 1)k)\\\\ = 3i +  0j + 2k \\

The value of the coordinates are 3, 0, 2 . so, the equation of the line is:

\to \frac{(x-3)}{3 \cos \ t} = \frac{(y-0)}{(t^{4}-6 \sin \ t)} = \frac{(z-2)}{2e^{3t}}=k
