MMR vaccines must replicate to stimulate an immune response

Further explanation

Live attenuated vaccine is a vaccine which are produced by weakening the virus or bacteria to reduce the likelihood that it can cause disease. The example of live attenuated vaccine is MMR, Herpes Zoster, LAIV, Rotavirus, Varicella. Live Attenuated Vaccines are attenuated (weakened) form of the “wild” virus or bacterium, and it must be replicated to produce an immune response. The immune response is virtually identical to natural infection.

Whereas inactivated vaccines are produced by killing the virus or bacteria. They include polysaccharide vaccines, toxoids, or cellular vaccines. 9vHPV, MCV4, and Tdap are inactivated vaccines. Also HiB, HepA, HepB, inactivated poliovirus, meningococcal, pneumococcal, rabies, TIV are inactivated vaccines. Inactivated Vaccines are cannot be replicated, less affected by circulating antibody than live vaccines and always require multiple doses.

The differences between live attenuated and inactivated vaccines is, live attenuated vaccines tend to produce more persistent, longer-lasting immunity. It is because live attenuated vaccines must replicate in order for the body to produce an immune response. Therefore MMR vaccines must replicate to stimulate an immune response.

What single feature is primarily responsible for the variation of climate in different parts of the world?
astraxan [27]

angle of incoming sunlight

Explanation:

The single feature that primarily determines the variation in climate in different parts of the world is the angle of incoming sunlight.

 • Climate is simply an extended study of weather over a long period of time.
 • The elements of weather like temperature, pressure, rainfall all conditions climate.
 • The angle of incoming sunlight is by far the most important factor that determines climatic patterns on the earth.
 • Around the equator, the sun is overhead and these regions are usually hot driving a wide range of weather phenomenon.
 • The polar and temperate regions receive diffused sunlight because the sun is at an angle there.

Question 4 (Multiple Choice Worth 3 points)
sweet-ann [11.9K]

The creation of DNA fragments with ends that can join with other DNA is achieved by the use of restrictive enzyme analysis.

What are restriction enzymes?

They are enzymes utilized in genetic engineering or gene recombination technology to cut DNA at some specific points in other to have sticky ends.

The sticky ends DNAs are able to join with other DNAs using these ends. Another enzyme (Ligase) is utilized to join the DNA back once the desired DNA has been inculcated.
