Which Inca emperor tried to secure his only release from Spanish captivity with a vast quantities of gold?
Archy [21]
D.Atahualpa

"On 17 November the Spaniards sacked the Inca army camp, in which they found great treasures of gold, silver, and emeralds. Noticing their lust for precious metals, Atahualpa offered to fill a large room about 22 feet (6.7 m) long and 17 feet (5.2 m) wide up to a height of 8 feet (2.4 m) once with gold and twice with silver within two months. It is commonly believed that Atahualpa offered this ransom to regain his freedom; however, it seems likelier that he did so to avoid being killed, as none of the early chroniclers mention any commitment by the Spaniards to free Atahualpa once the metals were delivered." -

Whats the historical and dramatic role of the chorus in ancient greek drama
TiliK225 [7]

The chorus fights for the benefit of the entire community and what the choir always says has an argument, just like the replicas of others  characters. Another important part of the choir is to introduce us to the mythical story that tragedy relies on, which is very important to us today because almost every surviving tragedy is based on some mythical story. It is not necessarily a mythical story, but also some real historical event. In this case, the chorus provides us with the necessary information and context without which our understanding of the tragedies would be greatly impeded.

Explanation:

  • If the emphasis was on actors, acting as in a later tragedy, the choir played a purely supporting, supporting role. Sometimes a choir of 15 people stood in three rows of five people each, that is, in five kinds.
  • Comedy choirs often had an even number and had a different schedule, depending on the setting. The choir, sorted by type, enters the stage singing an intro song, and was eventually answered by the exit song with which the action ended. After the opening song, the choir sang stasimon, standing songs sung by the choir after taking their place on stage and which at times had a digressive element.
  • In most cases, the choirist came in front of the choir, which gave a musical background to the declamation, so in such a structure the choir displayed and interpreted its stage parties through declamation, singing and declamation.

Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer:

The correct answer is B. The New Deal ended in 1938 partly because conservative opposition blocked new legislation.

Explanation:

New Deal is the name of the economic policy pursued by the Franklin Delano Roosevelt administration since 1933 with the goal of overcoming the large-scale economic crisis (Great Depression) that swept the United States from 1929 to 1933.

New Deal economic programs were conducted through Congress during Roosevelt's first presidential term in 1933-1936. Their goal was to alleviate the situation of the unemployed, restore the economy and reform the financial system in order to prevent the recurrence of the Great Depression. The Democratic Party, which supported the New Deal, expressed the interests of white southerners, ethnic minorities, and trade unions. The Republican Party was split during this period, some of the Republicans remained in opposition to Roosevelt’s policies, believing that it was contrary to the interests of business, and the other part partially supported it. Proponents of the reform formed the “New Deal Coalition”, which spoke in a united front until the 1960s, but from 1938 to 1964 the Congress was controlled by the opposition “conservative coalition”. As a result, many New Deal economic programs, such as the unemployed job placement program, were curtailed by the end of World War II.
