Anarel [89]

so you are going to use the Pythagorean theorem on the smaller triangle to find the connecting side's length

{5}^{2} = {3}^{2} ( {b}^{2} ) \\ b = 4

now you can find the bigger triangle's hypotenuse

{6}^{2} + {4}^{2} = {c}^{2} \\

givi [52]
With the given hint to be able to answer the question above, the equation for Newton's law of cooling is as follows:
                         T(t) = T(s) + (T0 - Ts)e^-kt
where T(t) is the body's temperature at any given time, Ts is the temperature of the surrounding, T0 is the initial temperature, and k is constant.
Substituting the values with the given above,
                             T(t) = 76 + (170 - 76)*e^(-0.34)(7)
This gives us the answer,
                                     T(t) = 84.7 degrees F

2/3 to 8 in simplest form
Nat2105 [25]
2/3 to 8 is the same ratio if we multiply both sides by 3/2 so:
2/3×3/2=1
8×3/2=12
So 1 to 12
