Solution:

Number of carving made = Two Types X and Y

x = number of Type X carvings artist makes in a week and

Y = the number of type y carvings Artist makes in a week

Artist spends 2 hours making each type X carving and 3 hours making each type y carving and he can spend up to 30 hours each week making carvings.

Above Statement in terms of equation

1. 2 X + 3 Y ≤ 30

Artist materials cost him $6 for each type X carvings and $4 for each type y carving and  weekly cost for materials to 120 or less.

Above Statement in terms of equation

2. 6 x + 4 y ≤ 120

For the situation Described , the inequality will be

1. X > 0

2. Y > 0

3.  2 X + 3 Y ≤ 30

4.  6 x + 4 y ≤ 120

graph the solutions of the inequality on a number line. Describe the solution to the inequality. p > 4
inysia [295]

Draw out a number line. Make sure 4 is on the number line. At this location, plot an open circle. The open circle indicates "do not include this endpoint as part of the solution set". We shade to the right of this open circle.

Visually this describes all real numbers that are larger than 4.
