So I have this like swim meet tonight and in reality, I think I'm slower now. My mom is gonna get really mad, because I'll proba

bly flop at least one event. Also, if I slow down even after all this time of practicing, she's gonna say I wasn't working "hard enough" when I practice. She's also gonna compare me to everyone else, because they're improving and I'm not. What do I do? ;-;

Answer:

first of all dont listen to your mother if she start comparing, no one is the same. but look you can talk to your teacher and ask how you can improve if u think u need to. if you have something bugging you then please talk to someone since its not good to keep these things to yourself all bottled up.

Step-by-step explanation:

hope that helped

Just try your best out there. Have a talk with your mom and tell her that your not like everyone else and that you go at your own pace. If she can’t understand that you are trying your best then she’s not being very supportive

Assume these are weekly. Matthew worked 8 hours at $9 a hour. Taxes were 16%. How much money was left?
guapka [62]

Number of hours worked: 8

earning per hour = $9

tax = 16%

First, multiply the number of hours by the earnings per hour:

8 x 9 = $72 (total earnings)

Now, find the tax amount by multiplying the total earnings by the tax percentage in decimal form (divided by 100)

72 x (16/100)= 72 x 0.16 = $11.52

Finally, subtract the tax amount to the total earnings:

Money left: 72-11.52 = $ 60.48

Una persona viaja a la ciudad X a la ciudad Y de la siguiente manera: la mitad del recorrido lo realiza en tren, la tercera part
hodyreva [135]
Tenemos que

R------------ > recorrido total
x---------------- > viaje en tren--------------- > (1/2)*R
y----------------- > viaje en bicicleta-------------(1/2)*(1/3)*R=(1/6)*R
z------------------- > viaje en automovil --------- > (1/2)*(2/3)*R=(2/6)*R=100 km
R=x+y+z
resolviendo nos queda que
(2/6)*R=100--------------- > R=100*6/2=300 km

What is 7/3 times 2/3 multiplied in simplest form
Sav [38]
Multiplying fractions is simple. You just multiply across so 7/3 x 2/3 is 14/9 and that is the simplest form.
