Zero is neutral. Its neither positive nor negative. Because its right in between being positive and negative.

For example: On the number line, as you can see, the opposite of a positive number such as 1 is directly the opposite of -1. But zero has no opposite numbers so it is and always will just be a neutral "0"

In triangle ABC, AB measures 25 cm and AC measures 35 cm. The inequality < s < represents the possible third side length o
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Answer:

The inequality 10 < s < 60 represents the possible third side length of the triangle, s in centimeters.

The inequality 70 < p < 120 represents the possible values for the perimeter p, of the triangle in centimeters.

Step-by-step explanation:

Firsts one The lower number has to be the difference between the bigger number and smaller number. In this case 35 - 25 = 10 and the s < 60 has to be the sum of both numbers.

Second one. I'm assuming it's just the sum of the two numbers to the first answer, and the second number is just the second number from the previous one, but multiplied by 2. Sorry that I couldn't go into too much detail about this one

Write the system of inequalities Carlos works at a movie theater selling tickets. The theater has 300 seats and charges $7.50 fo
ziro4ka [17]

Answer:

x + y ≤ 300

7.50x + 5.50y ≥ 2000

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that the theater hall has 300 seats.

If there are x adults and y children then they must satisfy the following inequality that

x + y ≤ 300 ...... (1)

Now, it is also given that the charge for tickets for adults is $7.50 per ticket and that for children is $5.50 per ticket and the theater expects to make at least $2000 for each show.

Therefore, the following inequality can be written as

7.50x + 5.50y ≥ 2000 ....... (2)

Hence, the inequality equations (1) and (2) can be written from the given data. (Answer)
