TRUE

Ethical relativism proposes that morality depends on the norms of one’s culture. Because cultures are different, certain actions may be right in one society and wrong in another one. Following this analysis, ethical relativism cannot definitely say that tolerance, or the acceptance of differences, is morally right. Because ironically, other cultures may view tolerance as immoral and the concept of ethical relativism should respect that.

Answer:

The above statement is TRUE.

Explanation:

Ethical relativism is the philosophy that regards that morality is contingent on the standards of one's culture. That is, whether an activity is appropriate or dissipated depends on the moral standards of the community in which it is exercised. The identical operation may be virtuously rational in one community but be modestly illegal in different.

Answer:

The appropriate test to use is independent t-test (also known as two sample t-test) in order to make a comparison between the means of the two independent groups used in the study.

Explanation:

In designing the study, independent t-test can be used to evaluate the statistical difference between the mean of half of the department population using the old policy, and the mean of the other remaining half of the population using the new policy in order to evaluate their understanding of both (constituting a broad range) appropriate and inappropriate behaviors in the workplace. The statistical result will provide evidence that would indicate whether a new organizational policy on sexual harassment is effective.

Oksanka [162]

Answer:

amygdala

Explanation:

Heinrich Klüver and Paul Bucy lesioned the amygdala in order to study its functioning. Kluver had done experiments on monkey prior to the amygdala experiments. The experiments involved injecting mescaline into monkeys which caused them to produce licking and chewing movements, as well as convulsions. This was the same kind of behavior seen in people who had temporal lobe epilepsy.

This pointed them towards the direction of further research into the temporal lobe and the amygdala.
