Answer:

F_b= 0.720 N

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

Weight W=600N

Average density \rho=1.20kg/m^3

Mass

m=\frac{W}{g}

m=\frac{600}{9.81}

m=61.22kg

Generally the equation for Volume is mathematically given by

V =\frac{ mass}{density}

V= \frac{61.22}{1000}

V=0.06122 m^3

Therefore

Buoyant force F_b

F_b=\rho*V*g

F_b= rho_air*V*g

F_b= 0.720 N

Sound cannot travel through a vacuum. Explain why.
asambeis [7]

Answer:

A vacuum is an area without any air, like space. So sound cannot travel through space because there is no matter for the vibrations to work on it.

On the decibel scale, a “quiet whisper 1 meter away” is about ____________ decibels,  where a “jackhammer 3 meters away” is ____
prisoha [69]
Looking at decibel scale tables on internet, a "quiet whisper 1 meter away" is generally reported to have a sound intensity of about 20 dB, while a jackhammer 3 meters away produces a sound of about 100 dB of intensity, so option a) could be the correct one.
However, the other options could be considered correct as well, because without knowing the exact sound power produced by the whisper or by the jackhammer it's impossible to calculate the exact sound intensity with precision, and since the values reported in the three options are very similar, all the three of them can be considered as valid.

What would happen if you place 2 Plane Mirrors parallel to each other?
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

No image will be observed.

Explanation:

Images that are created by mirrors are virtual images. This virtual image can only be seen by an observer. In this case, an infinite number of images or no image will be created here as both will be reflecting their own images. Light will continuously bounce back and forth reflecting the same image.
