Allopurinol helps to minimize or decrease the level of Uric acid in the body. It is very important to know that allopurinol should be injested after eating using water. The patient must make such that they drink a lot of water after the injesting allopurinol throughout that day. The usage of allopurinol comes with some side effects such as rashes, nausea and and increase in gout pain which a person suffering from gout should look out for.
