Find the length of x
zaharov [31]

Answer:

The answer is 2

Step-by-step explanation:

The hypotenuses of the triangles are different. One is 4 and the other is 5.

Lets use ratios to find the relationship of the hypotenuse and the base.

2.5:5

Turn this into a fraction

2.5/5

Now divide

2.5/5 = 0.5

The base of the triangle is half the length of the hypotenuse.

So 4 is x’s hypotenuse so:

4 x 0.5 = 2

X = 2

Consider the parametric equations
MArishka [77]

Answer:(a)x^2+2y^2=2

(b)In the attached diagram

Step-by-step explanation:Step 1: Multiply both equations by t

xt=t(cost -sint)\\ty\sqrt{2} =t(cost +sint)

Step 1:  Multiply both equations by t

xt=t(cost -sint)\\ty\sqrt{2} =t(cost +sint)

Step 2:We square both equations

(xt)^2=t^2(cost -sint)^2\\(ty)^2(\sqrt{2})^2 =t^2(cost +sint)^2

Step 3: Adding the two equations

(xt)^2+(ty)^2(\sqrt{2})^2=t^2(cost -sint)^2+t^2(cost +sint)^2\\t^2(x^2+2y^2)=t^2((cost -sint)^2+(cost +sint)^2)\\x^2+2y^2=(cost -sint)^2+(cost +sint)^2\\(cost -sint)^2+(cost +sint)^2=2\\x^2+2y^2=2 hopes this helps

Solve the equation for r C=(r+k)m
alexira [117]

Answer:

r = c -km÷m

Step-by-step explanation:

C=( r+k) m (multiple the m with the letters in the brackets)

rm + km= c (cross the km over the equal sign and it will be a negative)

rm= c- km (then divide everything by my)

rm÷m = c - km÷ m

r = c- km÷ m

Why is ti that when you add two numbers together (5+5,6+6,3+3, etc.) you get an even sum?? I need this for my 8 year-old-brother
astra-53 [7]

Essentially, the rule goes as so: odd + odd = even, even + even = even.

Although that may not be the answer you're looking for, it is a math rule that is never debunked and essentially the premises for why you get an even sum practically always depending on the numbers.

Hope this helps!
