As there are three people in total, the number of total shares is 3.

                Let 1 share = x = $14.85

                               t = 3x

                          t = 3 (14.85)

                            = $44.55

Hope this helps!

PLZ HELP ill GIVE BRAINIESt!!!!20 Points
Ronch [10]
A) √50 = √(25 x 2) =√(5² x 2) = 5√2, what Jacklyn did is the other way round, instead of putting the perfect square out of the radical & keep the 2 inside, she inversed the sens of the operation

b) We have to find the square of the smaller & largest numbers that are near 50:

7² = 49   & 8² = 64==> so 49<50<64 & the number is between the square root of 7 & the square root of 8, but we also notice that 50 is very very near 49, hence let's try 7.1==> 7² = 7.1 x 7.1 = 50.41, which is a very good approximation. Then the approx. to √50 ≈ 50.41

BiLo currently has 12-packs of Pepsi on sale for $5.55. Food Lion has a sale on 6-packs of Pepsi for $2.75. Which is the better
Gennadij [26K]
<h2>How to find the cost per can</h2>

To find the cost per can, we can divide the total cost by the number of cans.

\frac{total\ cost}{number\ of\ cans} = cost\ per\ can

<h2>Let's start with BiLo:</h2>

Total cost: $5.55

Number of cans: 12

The cost per can will be:

\frac{total\ cost}{number\ of\ cans} = \frac{5.55}{12} = 0.4625

$0.4625 per can

How about Food Lion?

<h2>Food Lion</h2>

Total cost: $2.75

Number of cans: 6

The cost per can will be:

\frac{total\ cost}{number\ of\ cans} = \frac{2.75}{6} = 0.458333....

Around $0.4583 per can

<h2>Comparing</h2>

BiLo: $0.4625

Food Lion: around $0.4583

As we can see, Food Lion has a better cost per can, as it costs less to buy each can of Pepsi.

Answer: Food Lion has a better cost per can

An art class is planning to paint a rectangular mural with an area of 60 square feet. It has to be at least 4 feet high but no m
Strike441 [17]

Hello!

There are three possible lengths.

We need to keep in mind that the total area cant exceed 60 ft^{2}, so, knowing that, we just need to find numbers that can be multiplied giving as result 60.

First combination:

4ft(height)X15ft(width)=60 ft^{2}

Second combination:

5ft(height)X12ft(width)=60 ft^{2}

Third combination:

6ft(height)X10ft(width)=60 ft^{2}

Have a nice day!
