Because we as human beings love being in control of things. Especially when it comes to ourselves. So being able to give up that control and trust God can be hard for many. Believing someone that we cannot see, has our best interests at heart, can be tough to come into peace with.

Our lung capacity naturally starts to decrease at the age of 30. By the time we reach 50, it could be decreased by half. I'm not sure about when we reach 90 though. Hope this helps! :)
