The fact that you love pets would be a static identity, but your on-again, off-again involvement with the american society for the prevention of cruelty to animals (ASPCA) would be a dynamic identity.
Static identity doe not undergo changes and remains the same. Dynamic identity on the other hand includes changes in understanding, changes in commitment and values.
