Does pulmonary blood pressure increase or decrease with left-sided heart failure? Explain.
weqwewe [10]
If there was left sided heart failure pulmonary blood pressure would increase. The blood that needs oxygen goes to the lungs, so the right side of the heart would be working harder trying to get the left side of the heart to work again. Having heart failure would also cause pain and panic also known as the fifth sense which would also cause the blood pressure to increase.

A cross between the two parents results in 50 offspring. How many of the offspring are most likely to have the dominant trait?
romanna [79]

As  you see on the table, there are 3 ways the offspring can get the dominant trait. RR, Rr, and rR (order was switched for clarification). There are 4 total outcomes. In this case, the problem can just be treated as a probability question.

3 out of 4, or 3/4 * 50 is 37.5, which can be rounded to D. 38.
