Mathematics

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a)

d=0.68t + 1.5        if t time is 3 hrs

d=0.68(3) + 1.5

 = 2.04 + 1.5

d= 3.54 ft

b)

d=0.68t + 1.5     if d depth is 4 ft    solve for t

d - 1.5 = 0.68t

(d - 1.5) / 0.68 = t

(4 - 1.5) / 0.68 = t

t = 2.5/0.68

t  =  3.68 ft

What is the slope of -14,17 and -7,1
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

-\frac{15}{24}

Step-by-step explanation:

Remember that m= slope. The point slope form is \frac{y_{2} -y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}

Plug in the second y value, 1, and the first y value, 17 into the numerator of the fraction. Then, plug the second x value, -7 and the first x value, -14, into the denominator. Your fraction should look like this: \frac{1-(-14)}{-7-17}

1-(-14) is 15 and -7-17= -24. You should now have a slope of -\frac{15}{24}
