Answer:

Paragraph 5 refines the ideas about brain research in paragraph 3 by <em>giving more precise examples of how musical training can change the brain.</em> <u>The correct answer is the second one.</u>

Explanation:

The third paragraph <u>explains with more general ideas</u> how studying music can be beneficial for people, and adds that the younger you are, the more your brain can develop if you are trained in music. The fifth paragraph is a much more specific; it says that neuroscientists suggested that playing an instrument "<em>can improve how the brain interprets sensory information</em>". As we can see in this last line, the information about how can a brain improve its development by studying music is much more specific. Also, this paragraph says that: "<em>music activates both the right and left sides of the brain simultaneously and this activity increases efficiency in processing information.</em>" The third paragraph functions as an introduction of the theme, despite not being the first paragraph, and the fifth one <u>gives more precise information with examples and with professional evidence.</u> That is why the second one is the correct answer.

andre [41]

Answer:

The three communication bits of advice I would give Sara to improve her communication with her boss are:

1.- Start with a context phrase about climate, journey, day.

2.- Always talk with a soft voice and nod

3.- Board the topics with proactive approaches.

Explanation:

the reasons behind these bits of advice are that in the first place to start a conversation we can ask about the environment, the journey the person had to reach its current location, or the day he or she has had. This is a very natural way to establish trust. Second, talking with a soft voice and nodding allows the listener to receive a positive response to his or her comments. Third, being proactive and always trying to build from all perspective will allow the participants to have a comfortable vibe that will allow them to share their thoughts because they are being understood,

Benjamin Franklin was a true hero. He made several important scientific discoveries, including electricity. He also participated
irinina [24]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

There is at least details for picking Franklin to write about. D is a possible answer.

I don't think A is correct. It states directly that Franklin was a hero. I don't think hero is quite the right word. On the other hand, signing the Declaration did make him heroic; the Declaration was Treason, or the British would have thought so. Still I believe D is the better answer.

B is simply wrong. Heroic and Important are very strong words.

C I don't see that any language is inappropriate for someone that reads well. In fact, the Declaration for example, is something every American should read. It is important to know why someone is an American.

I'll stick with D.
