Answer:

During reduction, 3-PGA reacts with ATP and NADPH. What does ATP contribute to the reaction? ... The L-D reactions require light energy and water, and the L-IND reactions require ATP, NADPH and CO2. In the chemical equation for photosynthesis, carbon dioxide and water are converted to glucose and oxygen.

Determine whether the statement is true or false, and why. “If a theory becomes supported by evidence, it can become a law.” A.
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

The given statement is False, it should read, "A theory and a law are already both supported by evidence and are equal, but they have different functions."

In the scientific method, a "Theory" and a "Law" are already both supported by evidence, but they serve different purposes.

The role of "Theory" in the scientific method is to provide a justification for the data collected through observations and results. As more data is gathered, it may be altered, enhanced, or even dismissed. While a "law" typically refers to an observed natural event that is true no matter how it is tested. It doesn't explain why the incident or event actually happened.

Why cellular respiration and photosynthesis are a<br> cycle?
Anvisha [2.4K]

Answer: Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are considered a cycle because the product (end material) of one reaction serves as the starting material for the other reaction. The starting material for cellular respiration is sugar and water and the products are carbon dioxide and water.

Using at least three sentences, explain the cycling of energy through the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration
Dafna11 [192]
In plants, photosynthesis, occurring in chloroplasts, is an anabolic (bond-building) process whereby CO2 and H2O combine with the use of light (photon) energy. This yields O2 and sugar (i.e. glucose). This occurs in 2 phases: light-dependent and dark (Calvin cycle) reactions, which both continually recycle ADP/ATP and NADP/NADPH.
The catabolic (bond-breaking) process in plants is cellular respiration, in which glucose is broken down with O2 by glycolysis (cytoplasm only) and mitochondrial reactions (Krebs cycle and E.T.C.) to yield CO2 and H2O. These reactions recycle ADP/ATP and NAD/NADH. The CO2 and water produced by cellular respiration feed into the photosynthetic processes, and in turn, the O2 and glucose resulting from photosynthesis supply the respiratory reactions.
