Answer:

The formula for area is length times width.

it's 8m long, and 6m wide. When we multiply it, we get 48m that is for one side of the cube, so we count how many sides there is. There's 6, so we multiply 6 times 48 and the complete surface area for the whole cube is 288m

Find the perimeter P of
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

P = 3.6 + 6 + 3.6 + 6 = 19.2 units

Step-by-step explanation:

distance between (-3,-2) and (-5,-5) =

Sqrt[(-5-3)^2+(-5 - -2)^2]

Sqrt (4+9) = 3.6

d = (-5,-5) and (1,-5) =

Sqrt[(1 - - 5)^2 + (-5 - - 5)^2]

= sqrt (36 + 0) = 6

d = (1,5) and (3,-2)

Sqrt[(1 - - 3)^2 + (-5 - - 2)^2]

Sqrt(4+9) = 3.6

d = (3,-2) and (-3,-2)

Sqrt[(-3-3)^2 + (-2 - - 2)^2]

Sqrt (36+0) = 6

The regular price of a DVD is $18, then it is put on sale for $14. Which integer represents the change in the price? A) -14 B) -
mash [69]
The answer would be  b). -4
Reason being you have to minus four dollars to get to 14. If you chose c, then you would be adding four dollars, which isn't right. So your answer is b.

How to evaluate polynomial function
Katen [24]

Answer:

"Evaluation" mostly means "simplifying an expression down to a single numerical value". Sometimes you will be given a numerical expression, where all you have to do is simplify; that is more of an order-of-operations kind of question

example: So let we are given a polynomial function as:

f(x)=x^4+3x^3-x^2+6  and we are aksed to evaluate this polynomial at  x=-3

Then the value of the polynomial will be:

f(-3)=(-3)^4+3\times (-3)^3-(-3)^2+6\\\\f(-3)=81+3\times (-27)-9+6\\\\f(-3)=81-81-9+6\\\\f(-3)=-3

Hence on evaluating the polynomial function f(x) at x=-3 we get the value of the polynomial function as -3.
