A car repair company charges a $15 fee for evaluation plus a rate for any services required. What is the slope of the table, and
sveta [45]

The slope of the table is $75 and the slope represents the rate of change of charges for repairing the car per hour.

Explanation:

Given that the car repair company charges a $15 fee for evaluation plus a rate for any services required.

We need to determine the slope.

The slope can be determined using the formula,

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

From the table, we shall consider the coordinates (0,15) and (2,165)

Let us substitute these two points in the formula, we get,

m=\frac{165-15}{2-0}

Simplifying the terms, we have,

m=\frac{150}{2}

Dividing the terms, we get,

m=75

Thus, the slope of the table is m=75

The slope represents the rate of change of charges for repairing the car per hour.

Can someone help me with this question me and my friends are fighting over it?
ki77a [65]
Okay so I am not 100% sure but I think it is C. 1/12;

Because if you rearrange all the letters so that W is is the beginning you get 6 different combinations.

Then I multiplied those 6 combinations by 4 because there are 4 letters.

Once I multiplied I got 2/24 because there are 24 possibilities in total, and we are looking for the probability of getting those 2 combinations.

I simplified 2/24 to its lowest form and I got 2/24 = 1/12.

So the correct answer is C.1/12, hope this helps!

Huey works 175 hours each month and earns $14.25 per hour after taxes. His monthly budget is shown. How much money is left over
steposvetlana [31]
For this case we have the following equation:
 y = 14.25x
 Where,
 x: number of hours
 y: total salary
 For x = 175 we have:
 y = 14.25 * (175)
 y = 2493.75
 The amount of money for unexpected expenses is:
 unplanned expenses = 2493.75 - 1250 - 200 - 350 - 400 - 225 - 300
 unplanned expenses = -231.25 <0
 We note that there is no money left for unexpected expenses
 Answer:

there is nothing left over
