Answer:

In my opinion she doesn't eat pork anymore.Just because of religious background.Though her mother cooks the pork several times a week.I cant see any reasons,apart from that.Probably she converted to Islam.Hence,eating pork js strictly prohibited in it and it's called Haram.Because its very dirty animal.
