After the passage of the twenty-sixth amendment the group of citizens which are automatically excluded from the right to vote were people under the age of 18, so minors. The passage of the twenty-sixth amendment stated that people of the age of eighteen and over were allowed to vote, when previously only people of twenty-one and over were allowed to vote. This is in part because of the student activism due to the Vietnam War.

Yes, I do think there’s a difference between history and culture. History it what has happened in the past, culture is our traditions,religions,food,places and things we’ve been doing over the years. It is important to study culture when studying history because they kind of collapse together. Like for example, día de los muertos (day of the day) that’s history from a long time ago but you can’t really go in depth into what it is without explaining the culture behind it.
