The setting theory agenda states that people in a community pay more attention to social problems that are highlighted in the country's news coverage, because they believe that it is these news that deserve attention and that are really important.

We can agree that this theory is correct, as we do not believe that relevant information will no longer be exposed in the media, since we live in a country that has freedom of expression. However, we must question this behavior. That's because, the media may even be committed to information, but in the end they are more concerned with the audience of their vehicles. In this way, important information can be left out, as it does not present the possibility of promoting a good audience.
