Dêcrivez une catastrophe naturelle de tsunami
Iteru [2.4K]
That sentence means describe a tsunami disaster.
A tsunami is a natural disaster cause by a tremor in the earth such as earthquakes or volcanic eruptions which causes a large volume of water to be displaced onto the surrounding land. It is also called seismic sea wave. When there is an earthquake or volcanic eruption, it causes a disturbance to the sea which displaces a large volume of water. Hope that helps. Have a nice day.

What should readers use along with explicit information to make a inference?
algol [13]

Answer:

I gonna break this down the best way i can

Explanation:

Making an inference involves using info that you know to make a guess about what you don't know or reading between the lines.

people who make inferences use the clues in the text along with their own experiences to help them figure out what is not directly said, making the text personal and memorable.

Hope this helps             :)

What are your thoughts about the society that Jonas lives in ?
KATRIN_1 [288]
Hi there!

This is an opinion based question, but I would love to give you another point of view.

In the book “The Giver”, Jonas lives in a very “black and white” society. There is no feeling. There is no enjoyment. Everything is... the same.

Of course this is what they wanted the society to be like, but they could not understand when they took away all the feelings of pain and suffering, they took away all the feelings of love as well.

I enjoyed the book very much.

Hope this helps you!
