Answer: The molecular formula will be C_6H_6O

Explanation:

Molecular formula is the chemical formula which depicts the actual number of atoms of each element present in the compound.

Empirical formula is the simplest chemical formula which depicts the whole number of atoms of each element present in the compound.

The empirical formula is C_6H_6O

The empirical weight of C_6H_6O = 6(12)+6(1)+1(16) = 94 g.

The molecular weight = 2\times \text{vapour density}=2\times 47=94

Now we have to calculate the molecular formula.

n=\frac{\text{Molecular weight}}{\text{Equivalent weight}}=\frac{94}{94}=1

The molecular formula will be=1\times C_6H_6O=C_6H_6O

select the periodic table tab, and look at the second row, or period, of the table. how does this row reflect the subshells of t
nikklg [1K]

The second row of the periodic table reflects second energy level which corresponds to 2 subshells obtained in this row.

Periodic table is arranged in rows and columns, the columns represents the group of the elements and the rows represents the energy level of the elements.

When we observe the second row of the periodic table, we will notice the following;

  • The <em>second row</em> of the periodic table corresponds to <em>second energy level.</em>
  • The maximum number of shells is <em>2.</em>
  • The number of electrons in the second subshell increases from left to right
  • The maximum number of electrons in the second subshell is 8, which is found in group zero (noble gases group).

Thus, we can conclude that the second row of the periodic table reflects second energy level which corresponds to 2 subshells obtained in this row.
