They need to babysit for 10 hours to have same money each day.

Step-by-step explanation:

On Thursday;

Charges = $3 per hour

Initial fee = $40

let x be the number of hours.

T(x) = 3x+40

On Friday;

Charges = $4 per hour

Initial fee = $30

F(x)= 4x+30

The cost will be same when;

T(x) = F(x)

3x+40=4x+30\\40-30=4x-3x\\10=x\\x=10

They need to babysit for 10 hours to have same money each day.

Answer:

The answer should be .25

Step-by-step explanation:

The answer should be .25 because:

- there are 4 places you can score and since you want it to land on 5 and there is only one 5 it counts as a 1

- the since there are 4 in total and you want to land on 1 you get 1/4 the number one standing for there only being one 5 and the 4 standing for the number of places to land on.

-then you convert the 1/4 into a decimal which makes .25

Hi! What is y = x^2 -4x +5 vertex form? Please explain how you got this answer. Thanks! :)
Anarel [89]

{x}^{2}  - 4x + 5 = 0 \\  {x}^{2}  - 4x =  - 5 \\   \\  { (\frac{b}{2} )}^{2}  = ( \frac{ - 4}{2} ) = ( { - 2})^{2}  = 4 \\  {x}^{2}  - 4x + 4 =  - 5 + 4 \\  {(x - 2)}^{2}  =  - 1 \\  {(x - 2)}^{2}  + 1
The last line is in vertex form, and can see the vertex is located at (2,1).

The question is asking to find the variance for the said samples in the problem ans use the sample data to determine each variance, and base on my further computation and further calculation, I would say that the answer would be the following:
#1. 3.3 -> 1 and 3 -> 2/9
#2. 1-> 0->3/9
#3. 6.3 - > 8 and 3-> 2/9

Which of the numbers below are exactly divisable by 9?<br>A)115<br>B)504<br>C)968<br>D)646<br>E)882
WINSTONCH [101]
Okay. So in order to solve this problem, we really have to try out each answer and divide it by 9. A is not correct, because it does not divide evenly. B works, but let's check the others. C and D do not work, but E also works as well. If you can have two answers, 504 and 882 are both exactly divisible by 9. The answers are B: 504 and E: 882.
