Because plants just keep regrowing as long as they have the right nutrients and stuff. While the majority of animals are not able to regrow things they’ve Lindt which makes the starfish’s behavior when regrowing a limb, more plant-like than animal-like.

Bumek [7]

The retina is the sensory layer of the eyeball which contains receptors for sight, called rods and cones. The eye uses light coming in to make an image, a picture which lands on the retina. Seeing the state of the retina after removing the fluid, I think the retina will become wrinkled. This could result in blurred vision.

A heron, a large wading bird, is hunting in a pond that contains three types of prey: fish, frogs, and snakes. All three types o
r-ruslan [8.4K]

The preferred prey item would be frogs.

What is optimal foraging theory?

It is a theory in ecology that proposes that predating animals that get the most energy from minimal efforts are favored by natural selection.

In order words, selection forces prefer investing minimum energy in order to extract maximally available energy.

In this case, the heron needs to use the lowest time to harvest the maximum energy possible. Since all the preys offer the same amount of energy, the one that requires the lowest time would be preferable for the heron.

In other words, frogs would be the most preferable prey.

Where is oceanic crust thickest?
alexgriva [62]

Option A, at mid-ocean ridges, is the correct answer.

The topmost layer of the nautical share of a tectonic plate is known as the Oceanic crust. The Ocean Ridge is created as an effect of raising up of magma from the asthenosphere. Mid-ocean ridges are a large, seismically activated submarine elevation system located in the center of the basin of an ocean and considering the situation of the up-welling of magma connected with seafloor expanding. Thus they are as thick as 6 Km at the mid-ocean ridges.
