The way to work out how many parts there are per shift would be as follows: if there are 2 parts produced every second, this means there are 120 produced every minute (60 times 2), and if you then multiply this 120 again to work out how many parts are made in an hour you will get 7,200. If you times this by 10 again you will get 72,000 parts made in a 10 hour shift.

F(x)=2x^2-13x+21. Find the x intercepts.
Sveta_85 [38]
The x intercepts are 3 and 7/2,

you could solve it by finding the multiples of 21 and 2 that add up to 13, so this gives you (2x-7)(x-3), which you then solve to get x by its self so you get 0=2x-7 and 0=x-3 so you would add to cancel out the 7 and 3 giving you 7=2x and x=3. You found your first root, then for 7=2x you divide 7 by 2 to once again get x by its self giving you x=7/2! Sorry I hope this is easy to understand!

Anastasy [175]

Answer:

3x+9

Step-by-step explanation:

since p(x) means p multiplied by x and the answer is 3x it means p=3 so 3(x+3) you multiply 3 by x which is 3x and 3 times 3 which is 9 so 3x+9
