That is to say, a good nutrition must contain:

  • carbohydrates,
  • proteins,
  • fats and oil,
  • vitamins,
  • minerals and
  • water in the right quantity.

The immune system contains cells that needs to be maintained by antioxidants.

These antioxidants are gotten from vitamins. They are used to:

  • protect the immune cells,

  • support their growth and

  • antibody production activities.

Therefore, good nutrition is beneficial to the immune system because they work as protectors of the immune cells.
