Answer:

Period = pi

Angular frequency = 2

Amplitude = 5

Midline is the line y = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

A sinusoidal wave is written in the general form as:

f(x) = A*cos(w*x) + C

Where:

- A is the amplitude.

- w is the angular frequency, this is equal to 2*pi/T

  where T is the period.

- y = C is the midline.

Then in the equation:

f(x) = 5*cos(2*x) + 3

- 5 is the amplitude.

- 2 is the angular frequency (in the image is called frequency, but this quantity must be in radians/time, while the normal frequency is only in Hz)

- We know that the angular frequency is equal to 2*pi/T, whit this eqation we can find the period:

2 = 2*pi/T

T = 2*pi/2 = pi

pi is the period.

- y = 3 is the midline.

"La suma de la medida de los ángulos interiores de cualquier triángulo, es igual a dos triángulos rectos, o sea a 180°."
Art [367]

Answer:

After a weekend at the beach, Lisa has $274 less than she had when she left. The equation that represents this situation is e=s−
Anon25 [30]
Well that's easy it basically tells you all you gotta do is plug in the numbers

"E" is what you're trying to find out so you don't know that one it stays the same.

"S" is the amount of money she started with and it says she started with $500

And then she has $274 less than she started with.

E = 500 - 274

E= 226

She is left with $226 after her weekend at the beach.

~Hope it helped~

Describe the symmetry of the figure. Identify lines of symmetry, if any. Find the angle and the order of any rotational symmetry
Sophie [7]

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

Clearly, if you turn the figure sideways or upside down (rotate 90° or 180°), you do not have the same figure. It has no rotational symmetry.

However, if you reverse it left-to-right, you get exactly the same figure. So, it has line symmetry about a vertical center line.

What is the value of x?
nirvana33 [79]

Answer:

25

Explanation:

By Using Pythagoras Theorem,

h^2=p^2+b^2

or, x^2=(24)^2+7^2

or, x^2=576+49

or, x^2=625

or, x=√625

•°• x=25
