They will both hit the ground at the same time due to gravity.
that means they took the same time to travel the distance to the ground

however, the ball traveled farther
speed=distance (or displacement) divided by time
so the greater the distance, the greater the speed

the ball traveled faster in the same time so it traveled faster

answer is ball

What is the momentum of a volleyball with a velocity of 50 mph and a mass of .5 kg?
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]
The formula for momentum is p=mv (mass multiplied by velocity), so in this problem, p=50(.5)=25=p or in other words, momentum.

If the frequency of q of a trait is 0.4, what is the frequency of p?
lianna [129]
In genetic traits, p and q represent the relative probabilities of the two alleles manifesting. If these two are the only options (ex. a dominant one and a recessive one), then the probabilities of both must sum up to 1. In this case, since we are given that q = 0.4, then p + q = 1, p + 0.4 = 1, and p = 0.6.

the two forces acting on a falling object are gravity and?....1.force, 2. friction, 3. air resistance, and 4. net force?
Vsevolod [243]
In free fall, the only force acting on an object is gravity. The force of gravity is an unbalanced force, which causes an object to accelerate. In the absence of air, two objects with different masses fall at exactly the same rate of acceleration.
