tan is really sin/cos and cot is really cos/sin so just put what they really mean in their place to make it ----> sin 0/cos 0 + cos0/sin 0 = sec 0 csc 0 then sec 0 is really 1/sin 0 and csc 0 is really 1/cos 0 so you just sove by cross multiply and multiply bottom together to get sin^2 0 + cos^2 0/sin 0 cos 0 then simplify to get 1/sin 0 cos 0 which is really 1/sin 0 1/cos 0 = sec 0 csc 0.  ㄒɦĄŊĸ ĦØφĒ ĮŤ ɧėŁP ♡✧♡

Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

3/4

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to find the probability that a student has a dog given that they have a cat, this means that the information given from the side that says " does not have a cat " is irrelevant and we only look at the information from the side that says " has a cat "

Probability = favorable outcomes / total # of outcomes

Favorable outcomes = Having a cat and dog , 6 students have both a cat and dog so favorable outcomes = 6

Total # of outcomes = total # of students that have a cat whether they have a dog or not. Total # of tudents that have a cat = 6 + 2 = 8

So probability of having a dog given that they have a cat = 6/8 or 3/4

Let C represent the total cost, and H represent the number of hours...
C = $25 + $8.50(H)
So for this problem...
C = $25 + $8.50x4
C = $25 + $34
C = $59

Lilly S. asked • 08/16/17

3 girls get volunteer hours.

Katie, Elizabeth, and Siobhan voluenteer at the hospital. In a week, Katie volunteers 3 hours more than Elizabeth does and Siobhan volunteers 1 hour less than Elizabeth. Over 3 weeks, the number of hours Katie volunteers is equal to the sum of Elizabeth's and Siobhan's volunteer hours in 3 weeks.

We know nothing about Elizabeth hours, so that is where you assign the variable.

Elizabeth = X

Katie = X+3

Siobhan = X -1

Assuming this holds true over 3 weeks,

3(x+3) = 3X + 3(x-1)

3x + 9 = 3x + 3x - 3

3x + 9 = 6x - 3

0 = 6x - 3 - 3x - 9

0 = 3x - 12

12 = 3x

x=4

in one week:

Elizabeth volunteers 4 hours

Katie volunteers 7 hours

Siobhan volunteers 3 hours

over three weeks:

Elizabeth volunteers 12 hours

Katie volunteers 21 hours

Siobhan voluteers 9 hours

21 = 12 + 9, so yes it checks.
