Answer:

Author's claim is honorable presentation of an author that he makes in his writing – to some person or his memory, group of people, establishment or even abstract idea. As it is seen from one epigram of Martialis, such statements were known back in Roman times. Hope this is what you're looking for!

What does Antony say that anticipates the crowd's hostile reaction to Caesar?
ad-work [718]

D. I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him.

Mark Anthony had said these words to calm the crowd who knew how close he was with Caesar. He told the crowd that he would not make excuses for Caesar. Anthony subtly portrayed Brutus and the conspirators of Caesar’s death as murderers without making it obvious.

Create you own Short Story (3 paragraphs or more) USING AT LEAST 5 DIFFERENT TYPES OF FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE .
erica [24]

Story:

A girl was walking with her partner in the crowded streets of Swan Vile Streets. The girl, Jules, had a baton in her hand, being a Guardswomen, in her other hand was a dagger that she had kept in her hidden knife cloth under her uniform’s sleeve. She could hear the whispers and voices of the people around her.

“Her eyes are like ghosts,” one woman whispered to the man on her left. The man nodded. Jules ground her teeth, her hair dancing with the wind, narrowed her eyes to slits, hating to be acknowledged by the people around her. Don’t listen to them, just bite the bullet. Jules thought to herself as she walked through the crowd.

Once Jules walked throughout the crowded streets with her partner, they turned right to a narrow, sketchy-looking, alley. There were homeless families sitting on thin sheets of blankets, with bowls in front of them. Jules checked her purse and tossed them the spare coppers she had. When Jules turned to leave the alley, she saw more homeless families enter the alley, arguing that they should get at least a few coppers or so.

“The early bird gets the worm,” one of the fathers said to the new families that came in the valley.

“Partner, we should leave soon, if we don’t the-,” Jules said, before being hit in the back by a person. Jules whipped around and snarled when she found one of the homeless girl from the alley. Swinging her legs up and around the girl’s neck, Jules swung her legs towards her, landing on her back, then rolled until she was on top of the girl.

“Time is a thief,” The girl said, before fainting. Frowning, Jules let go of the girl, but slipped a silver coin in her sleeve before leaving with her partner to continue with her day.
