Answer:

A secondary alcohol has a hydroxyl group bonded to a carbon bonded to two alkyl group carbon

Explanation:

Based on the organic chemistry nomenclature:

A primary carbon is one which is bonded to another carbon atom

A secondary carbon is bonded to two carbon atoms i.e. one on either side

A tertiary carbon is bonded to 3 other carbon atoms

In the case of alcohols, the functional group is the hydroxyl i.e. the -OH group. Here a secondary alcohol has a -OH group which is bonded to two alkyl groups carbon. In other words, the OH group is linked to a C atom which is flanked by carbon atoms on either side.

Isopropanol is an example of a secondary alcohol

H3C-CH(OH)-CH3

Here the OH group is bonded to the C atom attached to 2 -CH3 groups

You have the same two resistors on a 10 volt series circuit. Will the voltage going into the second resistor be more, less, or t
Keith_Richards [23]

both resistance will have same voltage across it which is equal to 5 volt.

if resistance value is different then voltage drop across them will be different.

current in both resistance would be same.

let's say resistance is 5 ohm of each one.

total current = total voltage / total resistance

= 10 /(5+5) = 10/10 = 1 amp

now voltage across 5 Ohm resistance = current × resistance = 1× 5 = 5 volt

Required

Chemical equation

Solution

Chemical equations can be expressed in

  • word equation
  • skeleton equation
  • balanced equation

Aluminum chlorate = Al(ClO₃)₃

Barium sulfate = BaSO₄

Aluminum sulfate = Al₂(SO₄)₃

Barium chlorate = Ba(ClO₃)₂

  • Skeleton equation

Al(ClO₃)₃ + BaSO₄⇒ Al₂(SO₄)₃ + Ba(ClO₃)₂

  • Balanced equation

2Al(ClO₃)₃ + 3BaSO₄⇒ Al₂(SO₄)₃ + 3Ba(ClO₃)₂
