Paladinen [302]

Answer:  Their journey became known as<u> the "Trail of Tears."</u>

Explanation/context:

In the court case, <em>Worcester v. Georgia</em> (1832), Samuel Worcester was a Christian minister working among the Cherokee and was supportive of the Cherokee cause.  To block the activity of a man like Rev. Worcester, the state of Georgia passed a law prohibiting white persons to live within the Cherokee Nation territory without permission from the Georgia state government.  Worcester and other missionaries challenged this law, and the case rose to the level of a Supreme Court decision.  The decision by the Supreme Court, written by Chief Justice Marshall, struck down the Georgia law and reprimanded Georgia for interfering in the affairs of the Cherokee Nation.  Marshall wrote that Indian nations are "distinct, independent political communities retaining their original natural rights."

President Andrew Jackson chose not to enforce the court's decision.  He said at the time: "The decision of the Supreme Court has fell stillborn, and they find that it cannot coerce Georgia to yield to its mandate."  He told the Cherokee that they would need to operate under the jurisdiction of the state of Georgia or else relocate.  This was a step in the direction of what became known as the "Trail of Tears," when the Cherokee were removed from Georgia and moved to territory in Oklahoma.

Based on this cartoon, what were business practices like in the late 1800s and early 1900s? Businesses became less corrupt as th
garik1379 [7]

The correct answer is B) Consolidated corporations gained traction and began to squeeze out smaller business and individuals.

<em>The business practices in the late 1800s and early 1900s consolidated corporations gained traction and began to squeeze out smaller business and individuals. </em>

The Industrial Revolution created new machines and technology that were used in the fabrics to make mass production more efficient. The problem was that machines replaced the people who elaborated those products in a craft and traditional way. And these mass production has a tremendous advantage that small business did not have.

These new business practices in the late 1800s and early 1900s made consolidated corporations gained traction and began to squeeze out smaller business and individuals. The reason was simple, mass production with the use of new machines created more products at a cheaper price. And small business could not compete against that.

Explanation:

SO WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW YOU HAVEN'T ASKED ANYTHING SO IMA JUST GIVE U A SUMMARY OF ROME ALRIGHT BUDDY! So theres this myth that there was a giant wolf that fed milk to the founders of rome and stuff so thats how rome was created and then it was a city state, and it was seeking military power. The big bad bully at the time was the Carthtage and they owned like all of africa and stuff and southern europe. Rome expanded itno the alps up north and under some political reforms they decided to slowly turn into a democracy KEY WORD SLOWLY. anyways long time goes by and whoops there goes the first punic wars. and then rome owns like what northern africa and then the carthtage violates treaties and crosses a river in modern day spain and whoops there goes second punic wars. Then this man in the holy lands named Jesus comes along and everybody loves him so people kill him but he comes back to life and everybody loves him even more ! and then lets go to around 117 AD or something, about the peak of rome. whoops there goes the fall of rome by barabrians, hopefully the eastern half can survive. then whoops here comes the muslim turks with there onion hats. and then Whoop fall of byzantium and renamed to constaninople ( now istanbul ) there u go.
