Answer:

\theta = \frac{\pi}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

\sin(\theta) = 1

0 < \theta < \pi

Required

Find \theta

0 < \theta < \pi implies that \theta is between 0 and 180 degrees

\sin(\theta) = 1

Take arcsin of both sides

\theta = sin^{-1}(1)

This gives:

\theta = \frac{\pi}{2}

Convert to degrees

\theta = \frac{\pi}{2} * \frac{180}{\pi}

\theta = 90

We have:

0 < \theta < \pi or 0 < \theta < 180

To get other values of \theta

We use:

\sin(\theta) = \sin(180 - \theta)

Substitute: \theta = 90

\sin(90) = \sin(180 - 90)

\sin(90) = \sin(90)

<em>This means that there are no other values of </em>\theta<em> in the given range</em>

Which statement represents the biconditional statement of the conditional statements?
noname [10]

The measures of two angles have a sum of 180º if and only if the angles are supplements. This statement is true.

A biconditional statement has 2 parts : a conditional statement that states "If hypothesis, then conclusion" and a converse statement which states " If conclusion, then hypothesis" . When both these parts are true, then it is called a biconditional statement.

What is the solution to the system of equations ?
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

A solution to a system of equations means the point must work in both equations in the system. So, we test the point in both equations. It must be a solution for both to be a solution to the system. Hope this helps.

I am so stuck please explain to me how to do this. If you can do this, please do!
belka [17]
Well, I think what u could do is put 1 where the decimal is and 0 by however many numbers there are, for example, 1.13/ 100. There is a 1 for the decimal and two 0 for the two numbers. And then simplify as much as you can and then make it into a mixed fraction if you have to like if it is 9/5 or something

What is the initial value of the exponential function represented by the table?
marin [14]

<u><em>Answer:</em></u>

c. \frac{1}{2}

<u><em>Explanation:</em></u>

We know that the initial value of a function is the output of the function when the input is zero.

In other words, it is the value of f(x) when x = 0

<u>Now, checking the given table, we can find that:</u>

at x = 0 ...............> f(x) = \frac{1}{2}

<u>This means that</u> the output is \frac{1}{2} when the input is zero which means that our initial value is \frac{1}{2}

Hope this helps :)
